    List of Ingredients




    1 (10.5 oz) can of condensed French Onion Soup
    1-1/2 lbs. Ground Beef
    1/2 cup of Dry Bread Crumbs
    1 Egg
    1/4 tspn. Salt
    1/8 tspn. Black Pepper
    1 tbspn. Flour
    1/4 cup of Ketchup
    1/4 cup of water
    1 tbspn. of Worcestershire Sauce
    1/2 tspn. of Mustard Powder or 1/2 tspn. Regular Mustard in the Jar/Bottle
    1/2-1 Whole (small) Onion cut in rings or diced
    1/2 Package of fresh Mushrooms (cut in quarters)

    In a large bowl mix 1/3 of the French Onion Soup with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 oval patties. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add onion, mushrooms and meat patties. Brown both side of patties. Pour off excess fat. In a small bowl, blend flour and remaining soup til' smooth. Mix in ketchup, worcesteshire sauce and mustard. Pour over meat in skillet. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring every once and a while. Best if poured over Mashed Potatoes! Instant will do! Usually makes about (6) patties. P.S. I find that everyone likes extra of the gravy so I usually double that part of the recipe.
