    List of Ingredients




    1 pound beef sirloin sliced thin
    1 tablespoon dry sherry
    3 tablespoon soy sauce
    2 tablespoons sugar
    3 cloves garlic crushed
    1 tablespoon ginger finely chopped
    1 tablespoon lemon grass finely chopped
    1 tablespoon peanut oil
    1 onion coarsely chopped
    6-8 kumquats sliced in rounds seeds discarded
    1 cup canned chicken broth
    1 cup canned coconut milk
    3-6 Thai chiles halved and seeded (use rubber gloves)
    1 cup snap peas
    2 cups shredded Napa cabbage
    ¼ cup shredded fresh basil
    1 cup fresh bean sprouts
    ½ cup fresh chopped cilantro
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Combine the first 7 ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Heat wok to high, add oil and cook beef mixture 3-5 minutes. Add the onion and cook until translucent. Add broth and coconut milk and chiles. Mix well. Add snap peas, cook 1 more minute, and then add cabbage, basil and sprouts. Cook 1 more minute or so until veggies are crunchy. Remove from heat and top with cilantro. Serve with cooked Asian noodles or rice.
