# 2 cups [500 mL] cooked macaroni
# 1 pepper
# 2 small onions
# 2 pounds [1 kg] semi-lean ground beef
# 3 cheese slices
# 2 cans [28 ounces / 796 ml each] braised tomatoes
# 1 tablespoon [15 mL] concentrated beef broth
# Pepper, salt, thyme, basil, savory or other spices to tasteRecipe
# Cook macaroni in salted boiling water, 8 minutes.
# Drain and cool slightly under cold water.
# Brown pepper and onions.
# Add ground beef and brown some more.
# Drain.
# Add this mixture to macaroni and stir.
# Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
# Bring to a small boil and make sure cheese is melted.
# Serve.
