    List of Ingredients




    8 oz (3 1/2 to 4 cups) Anthony's Large Elbow Macaroni
    1 1/2 cups chicken broth
    1/2 cup parsley, minced
    1/2 cup pimiento, diced
    1/2 cup slivered almonds
    1/4 cup flour
    1/4 cup schmaltz or parve margarine
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    2 egg yolks
    3 cups cooked chicken, diced
    salt and pepper to taste

    In large skillet, melt fat; add mushrooms; saute until tender. Remove mushrooms and set aside for later use. Blend flour into fat until smooth. Gradually add broth; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until gravy is thickened and smooth. Taste and add salt and pepper as desired. Add chicken, sauteed mushrooms and pimiento; heat. In small bowl, beat egg yolks; gradually blend in a small amount of hot gravy. Carefully add to pan, stirring constantly. Heat until slightly thickened; do not boil. Cook and drain macaroni according to package directions. Turn chicken mixture into serving dish; surround with cooked macaroni. Sprinkle with slivered almonds and minced parsley.
