1 (16-ounce) package elbow macaroni
1/2 cup canola oil
3/4 pound ground beef
3/4 pound smoked sausage, diced
1 cup green pepper, chopped
1 cup onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (4-ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, with liquid
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 (15-ounce) can sweet peas, drained
2 cups plain bread crumbs
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
Recipe
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside. In large skillet, in canola oil, brown beef and sausage. Take up meats and sauté bell pepper, onions and garlic in same oil. Add beef and sausage back to skillet, together with mushrooms, soups, sweet peas and seasonings. Add macaroni. Mix well. Pour mixture into Pam-sprayed 9x12 inch baking pan. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter. Spread over top and bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
