List of Ingredients
1 lb. Italian or link sausage
1 lb. ground buffalo or ground beef
1 lb. boneless chicken breasts, cubed
1 large onion, diced
4 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup white wine
2 lbs. elbow or spiral pasta
2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 16 oz. cans stewed tomatoes
2 16 oz. cans large, pitted black olives, sliced
1 7 oz. can mild diced green chilis
3 or 4 tablespoons McIlhenny Tabasco Sauce salt and pepper to taste Recipe
Brown the sausage and buffalo or ground beef. Once that mixture is about half-browned, add cubed chicken and cook until done. Drain grease, if needed. Add onions, peppers, chilis, garlic and finish frying together. Add salt and pepper to taste. Boil pasta until it's almost done, and strain. Add to meat and vegetable mixture. Pour into 20"x12"x6" baking dish or pan. Add tomatoes as they are in the can and add Parmesan cheese. Mix in olives, Tabasco sauce, white wine and heavy cream. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until mixture is heated through.
Makes 10-12 servings-- enough to feed lots of hungry firefighters.
You can cut the recipe in half to serve 4 or 5 people.
