    List of Ingredients




    Olive oil (to sauté) approx.3 tablespoons.
    1 onion
    2-3 garlic cloves
    3 slices bacon
    1/4lb. prosciutto
    1 can plum tomatoes
    1 tablespoon basil
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1 pint of Big Y sour cream
    1lb. penne noodles

    Recipe



    Chop onion & garlic. Cut bacon and proscuitto into small pieces. Sauté onion, garlic, bacon and prosciutto,until meats are fairly cooked (stir a lot). Then add plum tomatoes (I use an Italian style)---Crushing them as you put them in (and I don’t usually use all the juice, it’s too watery). Then add basil and sugar. Simmer for about 45minutes---continually chopping the tomatoes up---so it thickens. Bring to a boil. Then reduce heat and add sour cream. Serve over penne noodles.
