1 lb. fresh tomato-basil linguine, or pasta of your choice
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 pts. cherry tomatoes
1 c. slivered fresh basil leaves
Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
Recipe
Cook pasta according to package directions. In a large saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of butter and saute the minced garlic over medium heat just until lightly browned. Add the remaining butter to melt, then the tomatoes, and basil. Cover and cook over medium heat just until tomatoes start to burst, about 3 minutes. Pour over pasta on a heated platter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serves 4.
