    Pasta w/ Bacon Tomato Sauce

    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 to 1/2 pound bacon, chopped
    32 ounce can crushed tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. ground pepper
    3/4 to 1 pound pasta, any shape

    Recipe



    Cook pasta according to directions.
    Put onion in a large skillet and put enough water in to ALMOST cover. Heat on medium / high heat until most of the water is evaporated (about 10 minutes).

    Add bacon and cook until bacon is cooked but not crisp. Add tomatoes and fast cook on high for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. (You might want to use a splatter screen over the skillet to prevent splattering.)

    Add black pepper and serve over cooked pasta.
