SEASONED BEEF STRIPS AND PASTA

11/2 to 2 lbs. eye of round thinly sliced beef strips
1 tbl. Creole seasoning
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic pepper
1 (141/2-oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. basil
1 onion, chopped
1 bulb garlic, each clove cut into pieces
2 large zucchini, sliced
2 cups broad egg noodles, uncooked
Parmesan cheese, optionalRecipe
1. Season beef strips with Creole seasoning, pepper and garlic pepper. Place in slow cooker.
2. Add in stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, basil, onion, garlic and zucchini. Cook on Low for 8 hours.
3. If you choose to cook noodles in the slow cooker, add them in after 7 hours of cooking time and continue cooking mixture on High for an additional hour.
4. Remove from slow cooker and serve. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
Serves 4-6.
