    Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce a la Luciano

    1 pound box spaghetti
    2/3 cup tomatoes
    3 tablespoons tomato paste or ketchup
    1 medium onion in small dices
    1/2 pressed garlic (optional)
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    2/3 cup vegetable sauce
    1/2 tablespoon vinegar
    1/2 teaspoon sugar
    some oregano, salt, pepper, clove powder (1/8 teaspoon)
    fresh or frozen basil or parsley

    Cook spaghetti and warm reserve. Meanwhile cut tomatoes in dices. Fry the onion and the garlic in olive oil. Add the tomatoes, cook until soft (15 minutes). Add all other ingredients except the basil. If sauce its too thin, add more tomato paste, if too thick, some water. Spice with pepper and salt. Add basil and serve immediately with spaghetti. You can serve it with parmesan cheese. Serves 4 very hungry kids!!!

    Note from Luciano: I like it this way: First comes the Spaghetti, then the Tomato Sauce and at the top a little bit Sour Cream... No parmesan cheese at all.
