St. Louis Style Pasta with Broccoli

16 oz Anthony's Penne Rigate
1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoon sliced garlic
1/2 cup sliced yellow onions
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 cup vegetable broth
3 cups broccoli florets
salt and pepper to tasteRecipe
Cook and drain pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in large skillet. Saute broccoli, onions and garlic for 5 minutes. Next, add broth and simmer for 3 minutes. Mix in hot pasta. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve. Variations: Sun-dried tomato strips are excellent when added to this recipe.
