24 cucumbers, sliced thin
1/2 cup salt
8 cups water
1 teaspoon curry powder
2 cups vinegar
2 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup mustard seed
1 tablespoon celery seed
Recipe
Wash cucumbers. Drain. Combine salt and water. Pour over cucumbers. Let stand 5 hours. Drain; rinse thoroughly. Combine remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling point; pour over cucumbers. Heat to boiling and pack in jars.
Makes about 12 pints.
