List of Ingredients
Dough Ingredients:
1 packet active dry rapid-rise yeast
3 c bread flour
1 1/4 c lukewarm water
1 1/2 t honey
1 t sea salt
1 T olive oil
Crisco Recipe
Mix 1/2 of flour with yeast and salt. Ad water with honey dissolved in it and olive oil. Beat with electric mixer for 3 minutes. Mix in remaining flour. Knead 5 minutes on a floured surface until smooth. Place dough in lightly oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise for 10 minutes in a warm place. Punch dough down and divide in half. Punch down dough thoroughly and spread/stretch by hand and roller on a greased pizza pan. Move dough crust to pizza peel spread with coarse cornmeal. Add sauce, cheese and toppings and bake in preheated 500° oven for 8-10 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Cool 2-3 minutes on a wire rack before cutting and serving.
No Cook Sauce:
1 28oz can crushed tomatoes
3oz tomato paste
1 t salt
2 t dried oregano
1 t garlic powder
1/2 t black peppercorn, crushed
1 T grated Parmesan cheese
Directions: Mix ingredients in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Use about 1/2 cup sauce for a 13-inch crust. Makes enough sauce for 6 to 7 pizzas.
