1 cup chopped, cooked HORMEL® ALWAYS TENDER® pork
3 tablespoons hot and spicy barbecue sauce
1 Lavosh (Armenian cracker bread)*
1/2 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
SAIGON SAUCE:
1/3 cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons plum sauce
1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic
1/4 teaspoon grated gingerroot
*1 (14 to 16-inch) prebaked thin pizza crust may be substituted.
Recipe
Place pork and barbecue sauce in self-sealing plastic bag; seal and turn several times to coat. Refrigerate 1-2 hours. Heat oven to 375°F. Place Lavosh on baking sheet. Spread Saigon Sauce to within 1/2-inch of edge. Top with pork mixture, mushrooms, bell pepper, green onion, and cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with cilantro. Cut into squares. Makes 12 appetizer servings.
SAIGON SAUCE: In small bowl, stir together hoisin sauce, plum sauce, peanut butter, 1/2 garlic, and gingerroot.
