    Wisconsin Tomato Pizza

    8 oz pizza or bread dough
    1 tbls vegetable oil
    1 cup onion - chopped
    1 tsp garlic - crushed
    2 cups broccoli florlets
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp ground black pepper
    1 1/2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese - shredded (6 oz)
    2 large ripe tomatoes - 1/4 inch slices

    Preheat oven to 400 F

    Heat oil; cook onion and garlic until tender (5 minutes). Add broccoli, salt and pepper and cook 1 minute.

    Roll or stretch dough into a 13 inch circle; place on lightly greased pizza pan and form a ridge around the edge. Bake 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

    Cover dough with 3/4 cup cheese; spread vegetable mixture over the cheese; top with tomato slices. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

    Bake 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and tomatoes are softened.

    Serves 4.
