2 - 3 pound chickens
2 tablespoons sweet paprika
4 teaspoons of chili pepper
2 teaspoons oregano
2 teaspoons salt
4 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 small onion
2 teaspoons of garlic powder
2 cans of beer
Recipe
Mix dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and rub onto the outside (even along breast inside skin if possible) and inside of the chickens.
Dice onion and mix with garlic powder. Set aside 1/2 of each can of beer.
Put diced onion into the beer can. Insert beer can into chicken and stand on disposable lasagna tray and put on BBQ.
Mix together left over ½ can of beer, ½ cup of water and 6 tablespoons of chicken broth powder(Oxo, Knorr etc.)
Cook over low heat for about 1 ½ - 2 hours basting every 5- 10 mins with juices from pan…..very very delicious!
