Beef and Mushroom Salad

¼ cup teriyaki sauce
400g rump steak
1 tbsp oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
200g mushrooms, sliced
2 cups lettuce leaves
2 spring onions, sliced
Recipe
Marinate the steak in the teriyaki sauce for about 30 minutes in the 'fridge. Heat oil and fry steak for 4-5 minutes a side. Remove and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
Fry garlic and mushrooms for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Slice steak thinly and add to mushrooms. Arrange lettuce and spring onions on serving plates.
Top with steak and mushrooms and garnish with some grated carrot. Serve with steamed potatoes.
Serves 4.
