Firefighters Salad

List of Ingredients
1 large head of lettuce, cut up
1 purple onion (sliced)
1 green pepper (sliced thin)
1 can garden peas, drained and uncooked
1 large cucumber (sliced)
2 cups grated cheese
1/2 bottle Bacon Bits
Layer the above items in a large pan and refrigerate over night.
Firefighters Salad Dressing
1 can Eagle brand milk, or you can use any brand just as long as it is a
sweet condensed milk
1 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar or 4 tsp. or Sweet-N-Low
1 1/2 cup Dukes mayonnaise
Recipe
Mix all these ingredients and refrigerate over night. Next day pour over the
salad mixture. Firefighters love this salad because it is better the next
day, if they don¹t have a chance to eat it when it is freshly made.
