List of Ingredients




3 lbs. Ground beef
3 envelopes taco seasoning mix
3 heads lettuce, shredded
3 cups chopped tomatoes
2 cups chopped onions
3 cans chopped or sliced ripe olives, drained (optional)
2 cans ranch or chilli beans, drained
1 large bag corn chips (Doritos are the best)
1 bottle (16 oz.) Catalina salad dressing
1 jar (12 oz.) salsa



Recipe



Brown beef, drain. Add taco seasoning and prepare according to package directions. Cool. Toss with remaining ingredients in a large plastic bag or container.

By the way, here is the recipe I used for Catalina dressing. I doubled the recipe for Trash Bag Taco Salad and it was the perfect amount.

Catalina Salad Dressing

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
3 Tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt

Combine ingredients in a jar with tight-fitting lid; shake well.
