Don't Mess with Texas Salsa

List of Ingredients
2 lbs. fresh homegrown tomatoes
1/2 white onion
4 medium jalapeno peppers,chopped
2 small Red Serrano peppers,chopped
3 tsp. Garlic,minced
1/4 tsp. Pepper
3 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Ground Cumin
1/4 tsp. Cilantro, chopped
1/4 C. Olive OilRecipe
Place tomatoes in enough water to cover completely. Bring them to a full boil.
Remove the tomatoes and submerge in cold water. Remove them from the cold water and remove skins and cores. Place all the tomatoes in a blender and chop.
On a pan or griddle toast your peppers whole to darken the skins.
In a large saucepan, using 1/4 cup of oil, sautee your onions and chopped peppers with low to medium heat.
Add 3 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp. ground cumin, and 1/4 cup of cilantro.
Simmer on low for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with tortilla chips.
