The good folks at the New Southern Cafe in Crystal Springs, Arkansas share this recipe with us. Use Valrhona or Guittard chocolate and call it Chocolate Panini if you feel the need to be fancy. Either way, this is sweet comfort that can be made any day of the week.


List of Ingredients




2 pieces white bread
Butter
1 Hershey bar

Whipped cream (optional)
Chocolate syrup (optional)

Recipe



Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place Hershey bar between the 2 slices of bread, buttered side out.
2 Place sandwich in heated skillet and grill until golden on each side and chocolate is melted.
3 The cafe serves the sandwich on a platter cut into 4 party-size pieces garnished with swirled chocolate syrup and whipped cream.
