PAT'S KING OF STEAKS CHEESE STEAKS

List of Ingredients
24 ounces thin-sliced rib eye or eye roll steak
6 tablespoons soybean oil
Cheese (Pat's recommends Cheese Whiz, but American or Provolone works fine.)
4 crusty Italian rolls
1 large Spanish onion, sliced
Optional toppings: sweet green and red peppers sauteed in oil, mushrooms sauteed in oil
Recipe
Heat an iron skillet or a nonstick pan over medium heat. Add 3 tablespoons oil to the pan and saute the onions to desired doneness. Remove onions, then add the remaining oil and saute the slices of meat quickly on both sides. Melt the Cheese Whiz in a double boiler or the microwave. Place 6 ounces of meat into each roll, add onions and pour cheese over the top. Garnish with peppers, mushrooms and ketchup. Put on the "Rocky" theme song and enjoy!
