Bush's Beans

List of Ingredients




2 cans (15 ounces) well-drained BUSH'S BEST Sauerkraut
7-inch round loaf of Italian bread
12 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 1/2 teaspoons oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 pound sliced ham
1/3 pound sliced salami
Dash of Pepper


Recipe



Cut bread into 5 horizontal slices; discard top crust. Sprinkle remaining slices with about 1/2 of the cheese. Mix BUSH'S BEST Sauerkraut, tomato paste and seasonings. On each bread slice, layer about 1/2 cup of kraut mixture, 1/4 of the ham and salami; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Stack 2 slices for each hero and wrap in foil. Heat in a 400° oven 35 minutes; open foil and heat 10 minutes longer to brown cheese lightly. Cut in wedges and serve.
