12 slices white or whole-wheat bread
Mayonnaise or salad dressing to suit
8 lettuce leaves
4 slices cooked chicken or turkey
8 slices tomato
12 slices crisp bacon
Recipe
Toast bread slices. Spread mayonnaise on 4 slices. In layers, add half the lettuce, the chicken, and another slice of toast each. In more layers, add remaining lettuce, tomato, and bacon slices. Spread remaining slices of toast with mayonnaise and top off the sandwiches. Secure with toothpicks and cut diagonally. Serve with pickles and potato chips.
