    1/2 pound bacon
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon salt
    Dash pepper
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/4 cup vinegar
    1 1/2 cups water
    1 tablespoon flour

    Recipe



    Fry bacon. Drain fat into sauce-pan. Drain bacon on paper towels. In saucepan, combine egg, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar, water and flour. Bring to a simmer. Cook until thickened. Chop or crumble bacon into bits. Stir into dressing. Serve warm or cold over lettuce salad, use as a vegetable dip or drizzle over potatoes.

    Makes 2 cups
