HONEY CHERRY B.B.Q SAUCE

List of Ingredients
½ tablespoon butter
1 cup diced Spanish onions
1 oz. chopped ginger
1 cup orange juice
1 tsp. garlic chili paste
½ cup honey
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
5 oz. tomato juice
1 cup ketchup
½ hoisin sauce
½cup Worcestershire
1½ tablespoons Dijon mustard
½ cup Michigan bing cherries soaked
1 oz. chopped cleaned parsley
¼ cup lemon juice
4 oz. brown sugar
½ tsp. paprika
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. black pepperRecipe
Heat butter and sweat the onions with the garlic chili paste until lightly browned. Add ginger and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, and let it simmer for approximately 20 minutes. If it becomes to thick, adjust with water. Remove from heat, allow to cool and blend or place sauce in a food processor. Yields 3 cups.
