1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped (optional)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup (uncooked) elbow macaroni
1 (15-ounce) can chopped tomatoes
Salt, pepper and garlic powder
Recipe
Brown the beef with the onions and peppers in the vegetable oil. Drain off fat. Meanwhile, cook the macaroni according to package directions until tender; drain. Add to the meat mixture along with the tomatoes and salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Heat through and serve. Makes 6 servings.
