    List of Ingredients




    ½ C. raw brown rice
    7 C. water
    1 ½ tsp. vegetable bouillon
    ½ C. diced green pepper
    ½ C. celery
    ½ C. diced onion
    1 ½ T. margarine
    1 ½ C. diced fresh tomatoes
    ½ C. chopped green chilies
    2 C. tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    ½ C. frozen corn
    2 C. sliced okra, fresh or frozen

    Recipe



    In a skillet, stir-fry rice without oil until golden. In a large pot, combine water and bouillon and bring to boil. Add rice and simmer. In skillet, saute green pepper, celery and onion in margarine until tender-crisp. Add corn and okra and simmer until done. Garnish servings with parsley if desired.
    Yield: 3 quarts or 10-12 servings
