Pork and Noodle Fork Soup

1 bottle Renée's Gourmet Sizzlin' Sauce Teriyaki Herb
8 oz. Boneless pork chops
4 Carrots
1 Onion
2 pkgs. Oriental noodle soup mix
1 Tbsp Vegetable oil
3 slices Thinly sliced gingeroot (or a pinch of dried ginger)
1 Clove of garlic, minced
3/4 cup Chicken broth
1 cup Frozen peasRecipe
# Trim fat from pork. Thinly slice pork into bite-sized strips. Cut carrots into diagonal slices.
# Thinly slice onion lengthwise. Discard soup base packet from soup mix. Break up noodles if desired.
# Set aside.
# In a large wide saucepan, heat oil over high heat.
# Cook pork for 2 minutes or until just a hint of pink remains inside.
# With a slotted spoon, transfer pork to a plate.
# Reduce heat to medium-low.
# Add carrots, onion, ginger and garlic; cover and cook for 5 minutes or until softened.
# Stir in Renée’s Gourmet Sizzlin' Sauces Teriyaki Herb and chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Add reserved noodles and peas. Return to a boil.
# Stir in pork and any accumulated juices. Cook for 3 minutes or until noodles are tender but firm, and serve.
Serves 4.
