Salsa Rotini Soup

List of Ingredients
1 lb (454 g) ground chicken breast, skinless
1 cup ( 250 ml) chopped onions
1 cup ( 250 ml) chopped green peppers
2 (2) cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp (10 ml) chili powder
1 tsp (5 ml) cumin
2 tsp. (10 ml) chicken bouillon powder
2 cups (500 ml) water
1 ½ cups (375 ml) salsa
1 cup (250 ml) rotini noodles
1- 14 oz ( 1-395ml) can chopped tomatoes
½ cup ( 125 ml) shredded low fat cheddar cheese
Recipe
In a large pot, over medium high heat, cook the chicken, onions, peppers, and garlic until the chicken is no longer pink and the vegetables are tender. Stir in all remaining ingredients except the cheese. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer covered for approximately 20 min or until the pasta is cooked. Serve topped with a tablespoon ( 15 ml) shredded cheese.
