    Luscious Butterscotch Yams

    2 cans yams (17oz.each), well drained
    1/2 cup white Karo syrup (corn syrup)
    1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup heavy cream
    2 tablespoons butter
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

    Recipe



    Place yams in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake at 325F for 15 minutes. In saucepan, mix remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; boil 5 minutes. Pour over yams; continue baking, basting often, 15 minutes longer.
