Michigan Bourbon Baked Beans

List of Ingredients
10 lbs. navy beans
2 ½ lbs. browned bacon -- cubed
3 lbs. brown sugar
5 tbsp. chili sauce (quantity incomplete)
1 qt. molasses
1¼ gal. chopped plum tomatoes
5 c. diced onion sautéed in butter
5 c. dry mustard
10 tbsp. kosher salt
Add ground black pepper to taste
3 whole cinnamon sticks
2 c. bourbon
4 whole cloves
6 pieces bay leaf
1 bunch of fresh thyme
Recipe
Sort and soak the beans, then mix the beans with all the above ingredients and place them in a covered baking pan. Slow roast the beans at about 300 degrees for approximately two to three hours until the beans are tender.
