Spinach potatoes

1-1/2 lbs peeled potatoes (about four)
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp onion salt
1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1-10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach
1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Recipe
Thaw and squeeze dry spinach. Set aside. In a saucepan, cook potatoes in water until tender. Drain well and coarsely mash. In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour until smooth. Slowly stir in milk, whisking until you have a smooth sauce. Add onion salt, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Stir spinach into sauce.
In a greased casserole dish, layer mashed potatoes. Pour sauce on top. Take a spoon and poke potatoes to allow some sauce to go down into the potatoes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes until hot.
