    1/2 ts ground black pepper

    Recipe

Brown pork in oil in large oven proof pot or roasting pan over
    medium-high heat, turning
to brown all sides. Remove from pan and set aside. Cook and stir onions
    in same pot,
over medium heat until soft, about 10 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 5
    minutes more.
Return pork to pot. Sprinkle both sides of meat with salt and pepper.
    Top with 1 bottle
steak sauce. Cover tightly with lid or foil and bake at 350~ for 3 to 3
    1/2 hours or until
very tender, basting with pan juices every hour and adding small amount
    of additional
steak sauce or water if needed. Remove meat to carving board and let
    stand 15
minutes to cool. Using two forks, shred meat away from bone, removing
    and discarding
fat and bone. Skim excess fat from onion and sauce mixture. Blend meat
    into sauce
mixture. Serve hot in rolls topped with additional steak sauce.
One 5 1/2 to 6-pound pork butt may be substituted. Pork mixture may be
    prepared
ahead and reheated, stirring in additional steak sauce if needed.
