Recipe Introduction
a Japanese restaurant where the Yankees and the Mets get their very own rolls!
List of Ingredients
4 cups sushi rice and sweet vinegar mixture
4 sheets of nori (dried seaweed)
1 tbsp sesame seed
1/2 pound fresh raw tuna
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1/2 tsp togarashi (Japanese hot pepper)
2 tbsp tempura flakes
1/2 avocado thinly sliced
1/4 cup lobster meat
1 tbsp finely chopped scallions
Recipe
Chop tuna and mix with mayonnaise and togarashi.
Put a nori sheet on top of a bamboo mat (makisu).
Spread the sushi rice on top of the nori sheet.
Sprinkle sesame seed on top of the sushi rice.
Place the tuna mixture lengthwise on the rice.
Sprinkle tempura flakes on tuna mixture.
Roll up the bamboo mat, pressing forward to shape the sushi into a cylinder.
Press the bamboo mat firmly and remove it from the sushi.
Layer with thinly sliced avocado.
Top with lobster salad (salad is simply lobster meat, mixed with 1tbsp mayonnaise)
Cut the rolled sushi into bite-sized pieces.
Sprinkle with scallions.
