Janet Elway, Wednesday, January 12, 2000 during Good Morning West Virginia.

    Recipe Introduction

This easy-to-prepare dip is a football party favorite at the Elway's home. By simply stirring in other ingredients such as canned shrimp or roasted red peppers, you can create additional tasty variations to impress your guests!

    List of Ingredients

1 carton (8 oz.) dairy sour cream (1 cup)
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup finely chopped green onions
    3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 to 2 tablespoons finely chopped jalapeno peppers

    Recipe

Combine all ingredients until well blended. Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour to blend flavors. Serve with crackers, chips and cut-up vegetables such as carrots, cucumber, celery and bell peppers.

    Stir-In Variations

    Soy-Jalapeno with Shrimp
Stir in 1 cup cooked bay shrimp (about 4 oz.,) rinsed, well drained and chopped. Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour to blend flavors.

    Soy-Jalapeno with Roasted Peppers
