    To make a sweet potato pie extra special, add a layer of caramelized pecans and a marshmallow topping. This little trick will add a sweet and crunchy surprise to your pie.

    List of Ingredients




    1 - 5.8 oz Grandma Maud's Pie Fixin's
    1 - half cup chopped pecans
    3 Tbs of sugar,
    1 tsp of cinnamon
    2 Tbs of butter
    1 cup miniature marshmallows

    Recipe



    Mix sugar, cinnamon and butter with pecans over a low flame until caramelized. Spread the mix on the bottom of the pie crust and add pie filling on top. After baking the pie for approximately 45 minutes, add miniature marshmallows to the center of the pie. The marshmallows will spread to the edges as they melt. Continue to bake the pie until it is firm.
