List of Ingredients
2 lbs. Chicken Wings
2 Cups Flour
6 Tbl. Ditka's Spice Rub (see below)
3 Cups Sweet and Spicy Wing Sauce (see below)
Sweet and Spicy Wing Sauce :
12 oz. Ditka's Real Hot Sauce
12 oz. Honey
3 Tbl. Ditka's Spice Rub
1 Tbl. Minced Garlic
(Makes 3 cups)
Ditka's Spice Rub :
1/4 Cup Paprika
1 Tbl. Basil (dry)
2 Tbl. Sage (dry rubbed)
2 Tbl. Ground Black Pepper
2 Tbl. Ground White Pepper
1/4 Cup Salt
2 Tbl. Brown Sugar
1 ½ Tbl. Cayenne Pepper
2 Tbl. Oregano (dry) Recipe
1. Mix Ditka's Dry Rub ingredients together in a bowl.
2. Mix 6 T of Ditka's Dry Rub and Flour.
3. Thoroughly coat the wings with the flour-spice rub mixture.
4. Deep fry at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes until cooked thru.
5. Mix Sweet and Spicy Wing Sauce ingredients in a bowl.
6. Place wings in a bowl and add enough wing sauce to coat all the wings.
7. Serve with ranch and/or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
