    Rick's Family Famous Fire Wings

    Source of Recipe

    Home Depot's Real Men Cook

    List of Ingredients

    cayenne pepper
    whole chicken wings
    seasoned salt black pepper
    soy sauce crushed red peppers
    onion powder
    curry powder

    Recipe

    1. Spread wings on broiler pan close together to avoid leak-through of liquids.
    2. Pour on enough soy sauce to cover the wings. Then pour on enough hot sauce to cover the wings.
    3. Sprinkle seasoned salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to taste.
    4. Sprinkle crushed red pepper to taste.
    5. Coat wings with curry powder to seal in other spices.
    6. Broil in broiler section of gas oven between 400-500 degrees until golden brown. For extra crispiness, turn oven to broil for a few minutes until crispy brown. If using an electric oven, broil with oven on broil until crispy brown.
    7. Remove from broiler and turn wings over.
    8. Sprinkle seasoned salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to taste.
    9. Sprinkle crushed red pepper to taste.
    11. Coat wings with curry powder to seal in other spices.
    12. Flip wings on the other side and put back in broiler to cook.

    Option 1
For extra flavor, allow wings to marinate in mixture of all seasonings for several hours or overnight if possible. Use additional coat of Curry Powder just prior to cooking (both sides)

    Option 2
Place wings in a large bowl and add generous amounts of all spices. Mix to coat wings thoroughly. When adding spices do not add soy sauce or hot sauce to wings. This helps to create wings without the crispy coating of spices.

    Option 3
Wings can be baked instead of broiled. Broiling simply adds crispiness, baking makes the wings moist and juicy.

    Servings: 8-12
