Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Meringue Powder
3 tablespoons water
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cardamom
1 tablespoon grated orange peel (about 3 oranges) or 1 1/2 teaspoons dried orange peel
1/8 teaspoon salt
8 oz. pecan halves

Recipe
Preheat oven to 275° F. Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil, spray with non-stick cooking spray. Lightly beat meringue powder with water in large bowl. Add sugar, orange peel, cinnamon, cardamom and salt, stir well. Stir in nuts until evenly coated. Spread out on prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until crisp, stirring occasionally. Recipe may be doubled.
You many omit orange peel and cardamom and increase cinnamon to 1 teaspoon and add 1/8 teaspoon allspice.
Orange pecans may be made two weeks in advance and stored at cool room temperature in an airtight container.
