    250 g tub Imperial sharp cold-pack cheddar cheese, at room temperature, broken up

    1/2 cup butter or margarine, at room temperature

    1 cup all-purpose flour

    1/4 tsp cayenne

    1-1/2 cups Rice Krispies

    Recipe



    In food processor, combine cheese, butter or margarine, flour and cayenne. Process until thick and creamy, 20 to 30 seconds. Transfer to medium mixing bowl. Add Rice Krispies. Mix by hand. Scoop by tablespoonfuls, then roll into small balls. Lay on parchment-lined baking sheets. Flatten slightly by pressing with fork dipped in cold water. Bake in preheated 350F oven 12 to 15 minutes.

    Makes 36.
