1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Baking Cocoa
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons chilled butter, cut into pieces
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 (3.5 oz. each) Milk Chocolate PERUGINA Bars, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
Recipe
PREHEAT oven to 425° F.
PLACE flour, cocoa, 1/3 cup sugar, baking powder and salt in bowl of food processor. Process until combined. Add butter; process about 10 seconds or until butter is just incorporated. Pour flour mixture into large bowl. Add cream and chocolate to bowl; mix just until combined.
TRANSFER to counter top or cutting board and knead by hand just until dough comes together as a rough, sticky ball. Press into a 9- to 10-inch disc. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar; cut into 10 wedges. Transfer to baking sheet.
BAKE for 12 to 15 minutes or until set. Let sit on baking sheet on wire rack for 2 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool. Serve warm or at room temperature.
