List of Ingredients
1-1/2 cups Quaker Old-Fashioned Oats
1/2 cup chopped nuts, any kind
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 cup butter, melted
1/8 cup honey
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup raisins or dried fruit
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix oats, nuts, coconut and cinnamon in an ungreased baking dish. (To increase crispiness, one part cornflakes can be substituted for one part oats.) Combine melted butter, honey, and vanilla. Pour over dry ingredients and mix.
Bake granola for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring every 5 to 10 minutes to prevent burning. When evenly golden-colored, remove and, while cooling, add raisins or fruit. Serves 12. Recipe can be doubled and stored in tightly-covered containers.
