    List of Ingredients




    1 1/4 cups (300 mL) unsifted flour
    1/4 cup (50 mL) sugar
    1/2 cup (125 mL) cold butter
    1 can (300 mL) Regular or Low Fat Eagle Brand®
    1/4 cup (50 mL) unsweetened cocoa
    1 egg
    1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp (2.5 mL) baking powder
    1 bar (8 oz) milk chocolate bar, broken into chunks
    3/4 cup (75 mL) chopped nuts (optional)

    Recipe



    1. Combine 1 cup (250 mL) flour and sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press on bottom of parchment paper-lined 13x9 inch (3.5 L) baking pan. Bake in preheated 350°F (180°C) oven 15 minutes.

    2. Meanwhile, beat Eagle Brand, cocoa, egg, remaining 1/4 cup (50 mL) flour, vanilla and baking powder. Mix in chocolate pieces and nuts. Spread over prepared crust. Bake 20 minutes or until set.

    3. Cool. Use paper to lift out of pan. Cut into bars. Store covered.
