    List of Ingredients




    1 pkg (300 g) milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
    1/4 cup (50 mL) butter
    2 cups (500 mL) biscuit baking mix
    1 can (300 mL) Regular Eagle Brand®
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
    1 cup (250 mL) chopped walnuts
    Icing sugar (optional)

    Recipe



    1. In large saucepan, over low heat, melt 1 cup (250 mL) of the chips with butter; remove from heat. Add baking mix, Eagle Brand, egg and vanilla.

    2. Stir in nuts and remaining chips. Turn into well-greased 13X9-inch (3.5 L) baking pan.

    3. Bake in preheated 350ºF (180ºC) or 325ºF (160ºC) for glass dish for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.

    4. Cool. Sprinkle with icing sugar (if desired).

    5. Cut into squares. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
