    List of Ingredients




    1 can (300 mL) Regular or Low Fat Eagle Brand®
    1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
    pinch salt
    2 1/2 cups (625 mL) flaked coconut
    2 cups (500 mL) chopped dates
    2 cups (500 mL) chopped pecans
    1/4 cup (50 mL) finely chopped maraschino cherries
    1 cup (250 mL) butter icing
    1/4 cup (50 mL) semisweet chocolate chips, melted

    Recipe



    1. Blend together Eagle Brand, salt and vanilla. Stir in coconut, dates, pecans and cherries. Spoon mixture into 8” square (1.5 L) parchment paper-lined baking pan.
    2. Bake in preheated 180°C (350°F) oven for 30 minutes; remove and let cool 2-3 minutes. Lift from pan using paper to help. Remove paper and cool completely. Spread butter icing over the cool bars and drizzle with melted chocolate. Let topping set. Cut into bars.
