I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! ®
List of Ingredients
1 cup I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread, softened
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg, separated
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts
Recipe
Preheat oven to 325°. Grease 15-1/2 x 10-1/2-inch jelly-roll pan; set aside.
In large bowl, with electric mixer, beat I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread, flour, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla until well blended. Evenly spread dough into prepared pan. With fork, beat egg white slightly. With pastry brush, brush egg white over top of flour mixture; sprinkle with walnuts.
Bake 30 minutes or until golden. Remove from oven and immediately cut into diamonds. Remove from pan and on wire rack, cool completely.
Makes: 4 dozen diamonds
