    List of Ingredients

A doubly sweet and crunchy treat.
Position rack in center of oven. Heat oven to 350°. Line 8 x 8 x 2inch baking pan with aluminum foil, allowing it to overhang 2 opposite sides of pan by about 2 inches. Grease foil.
    Combine in medium-size bowl:
    3/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    Melt in medium-size saucepan:
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
Remove saucepan from heat and stir in until well blended:
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar
Let cool to barely warm. Stir in:
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1 teaspoon vanilla
Stir flour mixture into butter mixture just until incorporated along with:
    1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chocolate-covered candied toffee bits
Scrape batter into foil-lined pan and spread to edges. Bake until blondie begins to pull away from sides of pan, 35 to 40 minutes. Remove pan to a rack and let cool completely. Using overhanging foil as handles, lift blondie to cutting board. Carefully peel off the foil. Cut into squares.
