Trail Mix Cookie Bars

2 1/4 cups granola cereal
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
10 tablespoons butter, cut into 1-inch pieces and at room temperature
3 cups (about 1 pound) trail mix, larger pieces coarsely chopped
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
Recipe
Heat oven to 350°. Line a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with foil. Grease foil. Crush granola in heavy-duty plastic bag with rolling pin. Pulse together crushed granola, flour, sugar and salt in food processor or blender until well combined. Add butter; pulse until evenly distributed.
2. Pour granola mixture into prepared pan. Press evenly over bottom. Top granola crust with trail mix, spreading in even layer over crust. Sprinkle with semisweet chips.
3. Drizzle condensed milk over trail mix, covering as much as possible.
4. Bake in 350° oven 25 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool in pan on rack. Use foil to lift bar from pan. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve.
